We have a number of programs in the Huntsville Pool this Winter –

All programs are 9 weeks long and cost $108, all equipment provided.

Thursdays – Start 11th Jan

  • Intermediate (Level 3) –  6:15 – 7:30 pm.  Kayak Polo for those competitive ones among us!  All paddlers that have played Kayak Polo before are welcome to attend this program. Paddlers will be expected to have a basic knowledge of the rules and want to play in full on, intense games. Coaching will be given in more advanced skills and tactics of the game.  This is a 9 week course, each session lasting 1.25 hrs. All equipment is provided.

Fridays – Start 12th Jan

  • Kids Kayaking –  5:00 – 6:00  pm.  Program will cover all the basic kayaking skills, plus we will play some polo. Suitable for children 5 to 10 years of age, older children may attend this session if their needs can be met best by this program.
  • Beginners – Youth/Adult  (Level 1-2)-  6:00 – 7:15 pm.  This program is open to both youth and adults. It is aimed at introducing you to the game of Kayak Polo. Suitable for hardy youth age 11 or over and all adults. You will learn all the skills, tactics and basic rules of this fun team game. The emphasis is on the enjoyment of learning something new in a social, non scary, environment.
    Ladies – Adults only –  7:15 – 8:30 pm. Back by popular demand, this 9 week, adults only, program is aimed at those who want to play Kayak Polo in a purely recreational, social setting. You will learn the basic rules, tactics and skills of Kayak Polo that will enable you to enjoy this fast and fun game. This program was extremely popular last year, we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Registration for all programs opens 12th Dec at 7:30 am. Register via the Town of Huntsville’s website. We had a lot of interest last year, so please book early to avoid disappointment 🙁
