The Development Group program is for paddlers who have established a good set of basic skills and would like to progress further in their paddling. Training is given in more advanced skills such as rolling, specific competition based skills and whitewater paddling.
Entry into the development group program is gained through attending the novice program or a weeks summer camp and achieving the appropriate skill level. If you think you already have the basic skills let us know and we can do a basic assessment with you.
Location: Port Sydney.
Day: Monday, Wednesday or Friday (2 June to 22 Sept.)
Times: Various sessions between 3 pm and 7 pm.
Cost: $140 + HST
WO membership: All paddlers must be members of Whitewater Ontario. (Junior – $16).
Equipment: All equipment is provided, however youngsters are encouraged to start purchasing some of their own equipment at this level.
